Universal Nutrition Exhibits at the Natural Foods Expo West in Anaheim, California

Universal Nutrition, a New Jersey based health nutrition and sports supplement manufacturer, attends the 23rd annual Natural Foods Expo West in Anaheim, California. This was the eighteenth year that Universal Nutrition exhibited at the show.

March 31, 2004 -- March 5-7, 2004 Universal Nutrition, a New Jersey based health nutrition and sports supplement manufacturer, attends the 23rd annual Natural Foods Expo West in Anaheim, California. This was the eighteenth year that Universal Nutrition exhibited at the show. Tim Tantum, Gary Sacks, and Claudia Kinney from the New Jersey corporate office and Tom Fuller and Mary Ann Taylor from the California office represented Universal Nutrition at the show. Universals President, Clyde Rockoff also stopped by the booth to meet many retailers who were in attendance.

At the 2004 Natural Foods Expo West, Universal Nutrition did something a little different. We let our valued retailers help us choose which new product to launch. So at the show, Universal Nutrition offered two possible new Doctors CarbRite Diet bar flavors and our retailers voted for the next bar in our 2004 Dr.'s CarbRite Diet Flavor Challenge. The response was overwhelming, both in terms of the number of votes and in the outcome. Thanks to the vote, our new Dr.'s CarbRite Diet bar flavor will be available in the very near future.

In sum, we think this Challenge was immensely rewarding. It was a great way for us to increase the level of interaction and communication between Universal Nutrition and all of our resellers. This kind of cooperation is something that we plan on enhancing for the remainder of 2004.

Universal Nutrition also presented NOVA awards to our leading California-based retailers. We were proud to present this award to our top retailers. This is the first year were featuring it and I will be excited to see more and more of our loyal retailers join this list in the future, said Tim Tantum.
